Chicken Italiano

2.5 lbs of bone- in chicken, cut up

2 TB veg oil

2 tsp paprica

2 tsp salt

16 oz stewed tomatoes

20 oz can corn

1/4 cup water

1 med onion chopped

1/2 tsp ground oregeno

1 clove garlic, chopped

1/2 cup uncooked reg rice

brown chicken pieces in oil in a dutch oven

drain

sprinkle with salt

sprinkle with  paprica

add tomatoes

add corn

add water

 add onion

add oregano

add garlic

cover

simmer for 40 minutes

stir rice into liguid in the dutch oven, lifting chicken if necessary

cover

simmer until rice is done

approx 15.20 minutes
